At Elevate Beyond Co, my “why” is simple: I believe in backing the people and places doing real work that genuinely changes lives. That’s why I proudly sponsor and make regular donations to a selection of incredible humans and community initiatives that show up, stay consistent, and create meaningful impact for others. Supporting them is my way of helping good work go further—because when we lift up those who are making a difference, we elevate the lives of many.

Another side to me, is that I am a survivor‑led voice shaped by lived experience of domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV). I’m mindful that this is a heavy subject, but I choose to speak about it with care so people can see that no matter how unimaginably hard what you’ve lived through has been and what you may have lost, healing is possible—and you can create a life with meaning. I’ve been grateful to support and use my voice to keep survivor perspectives visible, and reminding survivors they’re not alone and you are believed -  now, tomorrow and always.

somewhere to go FOUNDATION

Somewhere To Go Foundation exists to walk alongside women and children as they move from surviving domestic and family violence to rebuilding life with strength, dignity, and hope. We create trauma informed spaces and pathways for healing grounded in community, connection, and long term recovery because leaving is only the beginning and no one should have to navigate what comes next alone.

We are incredibly proud to partner with Jo, who is an incredible powerhouse of encouragement, kindness and strength. Jo has supported Somewhere To Go from day one through ongoing monthly giving and now, by sponsoring our Communal Rooms within our new community centre.

Jo is walking her own domestic violence journey and even in the midst of it has chosen to give back ensuring other women and children are met with warmth, safety, and understanding.

Jo has such a passion for collaboration across Australia in the space of DFV support and advocacy. Her generosity is a powerful reminder that lived experience matters. When survivors lead support and stand together real change happens. The world needs people like Jo. We need people like Jo. Partnerships like Jo’s are essential. Together we are building a space that says you are seen you are believed and you are not alone.

ABOUT FIND MY WILD

Hi, my name is Lauren Jane, and I am the founder of Find My Wild.

Find My Wild was developed from my personal experience of leaving a Domestic Violence/Abusive relationship.

After 14 years in the relationship, I then had to navigate all the facets of leaving—post-separation abuse, Federal Court, 150+ texts and emails per day, system failures, legal failures, 3 lawyers, self-representing for 12 months, becoming my own abuser, and managing the mental health of my children and myself.

It’s honestly a never-ending list of things us survivors face…

One thing I realised was that no one was coming to save me. So many people didn’t understand my struggles, so I wanted to make Find My Wild the place that did.

There, Find “MY” Freedom: A 12-Stage Journey to Help YOU Rebuild from Survival to Strength! was born.

It’s a program, a resource hub, a community, and NOW a not-for-profit.

Join me in helping survivors thrive and live their best lives yet.

Together: We are brave, we are strong and we are so loved.

Love, Loz 🦋🤍

Sh*ts F*cked is an Australian podcast focused on addiction, mental health, and recovery, hosted by Paris Le Maistre. Established in September 2023, the podcast is driven by the aim of equipping listeners with clear, practical knowledge so they can make informed decisions about their own care.

The podcast explores the full range of recovery pathways across addiction and mental health, including abstinence-based recovery, harm reduction, peer support, clinical treatment, rehabilitation, and community-based options. Through lived experience storytelling and conversations with professionals and advocates, the podcast highlights how people enter recovery, what support options exist, and the realities of navigating systems that are often fragmented or difficult to access.

Sh*ts F*cked positions itself as an educational and awareness-based platform rather than a clinical authority. It focuses on breaking down complex information into plain language, addressing stigma, and helping listeners understand what choices are available to them, rather than prescribing a single “right” approach. The overarching intent is to increase health literacy, reduce misinformation, and support autonomy in recovery decision-making.

Your Recovery is an Australia-wide, online alcohol and other drug peer support service founded by Paris Le Maistre. The service provides one-on-one peer support via video telehealth, designed to support individuals who want to reduce or stop substance use, navigate early recovery, or stabilise their lives during periods of change.

The service is client-led and flexible, supporting both abstinence-based and harm-reduction approaches. It is positioned to support people who are not ready for rehabilitation, are considering treatment options, are rebuilding after rehab, or are experiencing gaps in care due to cost or waitlists. Your Recovery also offers support for family members and loved ones affected by someone else’s substance use.

The service is informed by lived experience and evidence-based peer-support principles, with a focus on practical strategies, accountability, and whole-of-life support rather than diagnosis or clinical treatment.
